We emphasize in depth blue water boat inspection, preparation, marine navigation, (dead reckoning and GPS navigation), night time skills, landfalls and piloting, offshore weather, marine ssb use, etc. We fully support the efforts of the American Sailing Association, US Sailing and the Royal Yachting Association. These are excellent organizations. Our chief instructor, Bob Cook, has steadily developed our program over 15 years. It is now a very serious, robust, real world coastal and offshore instructional program.
